Yeah, my dealer said it was normal with all Mustangs. BS
If replaicng the front struts and springs will correct the problem I'm all for going with the Roush set up. Has anyone tried this yet with success?

you will not get anywhere fast with complaining cause as of right now there is a loud suspension concern over bumps on the 06 only the 05 concern is popping noise on turns. i am a tech at ford which i also own an 06 with the same issue i have also had numerous customers come in for the same concern but there is NO fix as of YET i called the ford hotline and they DO realize and said a tsb WILL be releases but no date as of yet so all we can do is wait.

Thanks man....i will keep up with it. They told me the same thing......as soon as a tsb is up...bring it in....
I'd also check the following:
- battery tight and without motion
- fuse box near battery zip-tied down (mine was loose and made a thumping noise over bumps)
- wiring harnesses tied back and away from motor and other points of friction
- airbox tight and not "clunking" over bumps
- hood prop rod tight when down (I put a piece of weather-strip under mine
- trunk latch cover tight (again - another piece of rubber stuffed under the cover edge)
- Spare tire tight
- Lug nut wrench secured down ( a small towel under the holster)

Not sure if it's the same, but my Saleen had a problem with hitting bumps unevenly. hit an expansion strip right on and no noise. Hit it with one wheel and it sounded like the front end was going to fall off. it turned out to be the Sway bar link to the wheels was not torqued properly. Not sure if that may be your problem, because my problem was a Saleen issue, but the syptoms sounds similar. The dealer re-torqued the end link and it's tight as a drum now.
