I put the impact on mine but still clunks. How did you tighten yours? I didn't see anyway to hold the small hex so I put the impact on the big nut. I marked the nut and it did tighten about 1/8 turn.

i am glad i am not alone on this, mine started "clunking" after I installed the Tokico D spec shocks so i figure if i take it to the dealer he will blame the shocks? your thoughts??

From what I understand it's not the strut itself but the upper mount that the top portion of the strut rides is the problem. So regardless of what strut you use you won't fix the problem.

yes it is the upper strut mount not the strut itself that is defective.... trust had mine done [:@]
