I purchased an AEM Bture force Intake about 3 months ago. After installing it correctly, I noticed some small irregularities. Those were ignored until a few weeks ago when I had massive problems shifting. I would shift from 1st to 2nd at about 30mph, then the car would shake violently until I pushed in the clutch. Took it to a Ford dealer, They said the intake was throwing off the Mass air meter/ or something, which was causing my engine to mess up. Any thoughs comments etc...

That sounds fishy to me.

Did you tune/flash when you installed the intake?

 

Put the stock back on then see if it does it then if it does take it to the dealer.

 

No Engine lights? Maybe give your tuner a call.

 

I have that same exact set up, AEM CAI with the Predator tune and I have not had any problems. Is your tune the canned or is it a custom? If it is a custom, def take it back to them.My canned tuned works perfect and feels great. Good luck to ya.
