SCT XCal 2 WOT Air/Fuel?

RE: SCT XCal 2 WOT Air/Fuel?
If I remember correctly, there are 3 canned tunes in the SCT2, 89, 91 and 93 octane. The air/fuel is already calibrated for each tune. I was told that the 93 octane tune will get you the best performance without messing with individual parameters (which I'm not sure you can change). The specific parameters should be left to a professional tuner and a Dyno tune. I also heard that if you don't know what you are doing and start messing with each parameter, you can mess things up and could cause serious damage to your engine, fuel management system etc. That is why they include these 3 tunes with the tuner. They have already been setup and uploaded to your tuner to eliminate the guesswork and possible mistakes by the novice user. This is just what I've been told and I'm not an expert, although I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express Hotel last night! LOL.

I don't know if you saw the Two Guys Garage when they installed a KB on an '05 'Stang GT.... but they got an extra 100hp to the wheels by having a guy from SCT tweak the air/fuel and spark. (on the S/C'ed car, of course)
Someone on here before said he raised the spark one unit at every rpm section and gained some power from it.

RE: SCT XCal 2 WOT Air/Fuel?
3 canned tunes 87, 91, and 93.
My bike require 91 octane.
The 3 grades of fuel sold around here are
87, 89, and 93.........................
Where do I get 91 octane, or a canned tune for 89?
You won't get much for A/F changes, unless your car isn't right to start with. The possibility of finding "right" with out A/F readings would seem to be slim.
Advancing timing is an old hot rodders trick. Of course the would advance until they got knock, then back it off slightly. I'm not sure I want to be inducing knock looking for a tune. I also suspect that a 05-06 ignition system is much closer to ideal timing than an old mechanical system ever was.
