Sounded like you had to whine for a loaner. and got to the dealer with an "attitude"
Furthermore, you posted on 5/1 that you put 1000 miles on your car in less than a week, now today, you say it has a 1000 miles (5 weeks later) Either the car sat for 5 weeks, you can't read, or you're FOS.

WTF, I screwed up.
I even went to fordvehicles.com and checked the 06 model line up, before posting that, and sure enough they didn't show Taurus. Oh well, lesson learned. I'm a dumbass, I'm a dumbass, I'm a dumbass.

LOL, I went to Ford and tried to build an 06 Taurus as well. No dice. Who knows, maybe its a typo on the dealer's part. It HAS happened before. Still fun to see you eat your words, lejay
