RE: CANADA
I drove into Canada a couple of years ago...
I entered on the bridge at Niagra Falls...
The Canadian Guard guy standing in his booth as I drove up - - smiled and said... "Hello Sir, Have you any Alcohol, Tobacco or Guns?".. To which I smiled back and answered "Yes".... to which he responded "Welcome to Canada Sir, I hope you enjoy your visit" and waved me through!
I guess Canada isn't all too worried about Terrorists crossing at Niagra Falls in Preppy clothes and driving an Ignition Red BMW 325 Convertible.. LOL
Coming back into the US at Detroit was another matter entirely - - it took us an hour to go through the inspection and interview process!.. geeezzzz

RE: CANADA
Northern Alberta myself... man, hard to get parts performance mods here. with the exception of steeda everything i've bought and will likely buy has come from the states. dollar is getting up there though so lately it's not that bad.

Yah, I am in the process of deciding on which supercharger to go with and every price I have received so far has been outrageous when compared to ordering directly from the States. For example, the Saleen supercharger when ordered from the states is ~$5700 USD + shipping. When talking to Saleen Canada they quoted me $8500, when adding tax, USD-CAD conversion and shipping that's still an additional cost of ~$1500 CAD!
Second example, I have priced out the Ford Racing handling package. It is $1149 US from Ford Racing directly. The dealership quoted me $1799 CAD for the parts (and another $600 to have it installed).
IEATSRT where in northern Ab?
281GT are you from Edmonton?
