Default TripTunes

Doe`s anyone out there have any experiance with the TripTunes part #19c142 from the Mustang accesories catalog. It is supposed to allow an I-Pod to be played thru the cars radio using some sort of a harness.

It's be cheaper to go to best buy and buy a $20 fm transmitter and connect it to your headphone jack and than turn your car radio to the channel you pick.

I read someplace that the 07 basic and shaker 500/1000 will have an input jack. Maybe it can be swapped out?

Now that would be a cool feature as some of us will have the head unit replaced under warranty since they are notorious for skipping and having CD errors, etc. I'd like to know for sure if this is true. If so, I'll be first in line to have mine replaced under warranty.

Ford's catalog doesn't mention that it's an FM modulator. I ordered one when my Shaker500 was out being repaired (skipping CDs). It's next to useless. I can't understand why they made an FM modulator for a radio with an AUX input. I'll definately be complaining to Ford.
