I've had my fill of trying to avoid a$$holes who are trying to run me over.... People who can't even walk and breathe at the same time are running me off the road!

There ought to be a law against that $hit!!!!!

The cell phone will go down as one of the worst inventions of all time! Right up there with the handgun, the pet rock and the Macarena!
I'm starting to see idiots who are walking and talking on their cell when crossing the street- jaywalking! I guess the good thing is eventually all these idiots will be killed. Survival of the fittest- or at least the more intelligent...

 

I'm ok with "natural selection" when they are walking however they should NOT be allowed to drive.

 

If they have their windows down, i straight up tell them to get off the phone

 

Hell, I can't even hold a conversation in the car and drive at the same time. I'll explode the second I pick up a cell phone in the car.

 

Don't even get me started on these idiots.

Sitting at an intersection, the light turns green and they are to busy talking to go.

THey love to change lanes without so much as a glance, discussing whats for dinner is much more important.

THe best is when they almost take run you off the road and they finally realize you are there. They always look at you like you did something wrong.

I had a guy talking on the phone turn his right blinker on and then jump into the left lane.[sm=WTFsgign.gif]

I was on my motorcycle at the time and he damn near ran me into opposing traffic. Afterwards he flipped me off and yelled something which I couldn't understand.

I handled it fairly well, I got along side of him and punched his side mirror with my gloves which have carbon fiber knuckles. Totally shattered the mirror and the entire housing broke loose and just hung there. Punched the gas and disappeared. Normally I would just shrug it off as an idiot who just made a mistake, but flipping me off and yelling at me when he almost kills me cause his phone call is so important, well I just snapped.



I propose legislation that 1 day a year is open season on these tools. IF a driver on the phone does something idiotic and endangers another person or their vehicle, you have the right to drag them out of the car and shove the phone into any orifice you see fit. You would have complete amnesty against prosecution.

The only problem with this is our justice system doesn't allow for this. Sure they will be killed, but innocent people who hate them like you and me will be penalized for it. Personally I think if you are killed or injured when doing something stupid, you should get charged with something whereas the other person should get off scot free.

 

I see that there is great sympathy for my position ot there. It's not like this is an isolated incident, it happens to me, or someone near me every freakin' time I get out on the road. I know that NY state has a law that bans handheld phones while driving and I'd like to see that one go country-wide.

I'd much rather be on the road with a hard-workin' American whose had a beer or two after work than a soccer-mom in her Excursion; on the phone, while yelling at her kids, while putting on her makeup and munching on a Double Whopper with cheese, in the fast lane doing 40, making random lane changes without the use of a mirror or turn-signal (believe me, this happens in Atlanta).

All that BS just pi$$e$ me off!!!! Nip it!..........Nip it in the bud, I say!!

In the area where I live, they have October Fest every year. A couple of years ago, some guy was talking on his cell phone and not paying attention to anything around him. He was so engrossed with his phone call that he walked right in the path of a train and got killed. How in the world can you not hear a train go by even while you are on the phone?
