Opinions on engine noise?
Hello everybody,
While sitting in the car I hear a whine at 850-1000 rpms, not too loud. I assume first off it's the belt so I open it up. Screeeeeeechy, but again, not too loud. My ears lead me to the front (drivers left)valve cover and when there I notice what to me seems to be far too much clattering going on. When compared to the left it's drastically louder but the clattering can only be heard within a foot of an open engine. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
What is whining from inside the valve cover? fluttery clatter noise?
