How difficult is the install?
Extremely easy... wrap a cloth or something around the base of the antenna (so you don't scratch it if you want to keep it) and use a wrench to twist it off. Replace with the new antenna, and tada! sexy antenna...

These are very nice also, only reason I didnt go with one of these is because the one I really wanted (and IMO one of the few I could stand).. lol... was like 60 bucks and to me that was just too much for an antenna, but if you have the cash and the desire feel free to check them out. They definately have a unique antenna selection.

My red one for the Musatng was 19.99 and the Flamed one for the truck was 39.99 those are pretty much the prices no matter what. Solid color is 19.99 Flamed are 39.99 call and buy direct from them.

Your antenna isn't too long your car shrank when you washed it. Actually my wife said this is the first time she has heard of a man saying someting is too long.

My mistake, I must have been at a different site then. The one I went to had some that were in the hundreds.. I was shocked. I would have gotten a solid colored one except for the fact that it would have been pointless, I have a silver car.
