Probably yes.
My 06 was made in 9-05 and it's AL.

Does anyone have a link for this? I find it hard to believe.
Mine was made in early Feb, 2006. Factory hood is aluminum and weighs a good deal less than the aftermarket Kaenen hood. Are you suggesting the '07s are steel as well?

 

I actually have Cervini's ram air hood and it is MUCH heavier than the stock hood.

 

Anyone with the Cali Dream Hood in Tungsten Grey?

 

Dude I cant find anyone with that hood in ANY color....

 

We'll I have pics of red with white stripes, but just spent 10 min trying to upload pic. File too large crap after many re sizes.

 

Put a magnet to your hood. I did. Mine is an 06 and it is definitly NOT steel.

 

I never had the stock hood so I couldnt tell you. This hood isnt terribly heavy but I sure like the way it looks so in the end it wouldnt have made any difference
