Default Window tint scratches

...well finally made an appointment for 2-morrow to take my steed back to the dealer for the TSB on the Window tint situation.
Thanks to you guys here in the forum, I was made aware that a TSB is out there for an apparent "strip" within the window frame that prevents the scratching of the window tint. The dealer was kinda of reluctant about hearing that, but when push came to shove, I advise the service rep that I purchased my car from them & that is under warranty and it was purchased with tinted windows SO that is also under warranty...needless to say, it should all be fixed 2-morrow.

The bad thing is I will not be able to go topless or lower my windows for probably 2-3 days...in Florida, that is torture!
Will keep you guys posted!

Good Deal Rican....

I am confident that you will survive the time with the top up...LOL

If nothing else It will reinforce the reason for getting a Vert in the first place!!!!

LOL...good point Tino...I know it is a minor cosmetic thing, but it drives me nuts just knowing that they are scratched!

Rican...

Being in FL.. you use your AC... Are you happy with the peformance of your AC?

I am in St. louis.. and it gets dayum humid here.

Anyway... my AC works.. but nowhere near what it should. I have to leave it on MAX and on COLD and leave it there constant to keep the cabin temp below 80. Ford dealership ducked the issue stating the output meets factory specs. It takes like 5 whole minutes to lower the temp to "comfortable" when getting into my car after it sat on a parking lot for more then 10 minutes.

My overpriced underpowered BMW 325 Convertible would run you out of the car with the top DOWN if you left the AC on max for more then 3 minutes.

Hey Rican! Can you point me to that TSB on the missing felt. I'm going to get my windows tinted, and might as well head the problem off at the pass, so to speak. My dealer is pretty good about this stuff...if there's a TSB. Thanks!

I live in hot and muggy Ohio, it gets blazing hot and humid here in the summers. Average humdity is about 80-90 percent in the summer and about 85+ 90 degrees. My AC blows cold all the time, MAX AC and I need a Mansier due to erect nipples.

Yeah the AC in my hard top gets down right nipply. Almost too cold sometimes, What really bugs me though is how damned loud the blower is when you have it on Max. Have to YELL just to have a conversation.
