My friends Girlfriends Dad paid 20,000 over sticker.

Hes a baby boomer and I dont think the Shelby is worth 64K IMO.

 

I didn't vote since I bought a Saleen instead of a GT500... but the GT500's in my area that are not spoken for yet are $30k over. The ones that sold prior to this all went for $20k over, and I believe they had 5 sold at that price at one dealership alone. I'll ask my salesman if they sold the last GT500 yet or not when I pick my car up tomorrow from getting the brake recall handled.

I just can't figure out why anyone wants to pay big $$$ over sticker of a depreciating asset[sm=bangbang.gif]! I guess if you wiping your a$$ with $100 bills it wouldn't matter.

They will be making about 9,000 a year for at least 3-5 years according to Ford, you have to be an idiot to pay over MSRP... In 6-9 months they will start to go for MSRP, once the idiots are done and then next year they will start to sit and go for under MSRP...

 

Sorry, I'd spend this kind of money on a new Vette.
