RE: Squeaky Dashboard
I also have a problem on the passenger side on my 06 GT. If I push on the dash in the center and the right side right near the top it stops. Doesn't do it all the time, just sometimes. Thought about trying a few of the things mentioned in this thread. Thanks for the ideas!

RE: Squeaky Dashboard
My driver side a-pillar plastic cover piece started to rattle against the dash. I took it into the dealer and they are ordering a new a-pillar cover piece. Stated the tab was broken or incorrect or something.
YES, it is covered under warranty. My car had 2006 GT had 700 miles on it at the time...

I forgot to tell them about the rattle in my driver's side A-pillar. It started after they removed the covering to paint the drivers side fender. Check it out. Your rear fender is one big piece that goes around the rear window & all they way over the door and down the A-pillar! So they take off the inside plastic to paint it and now the A-pillar rattles against the dash! If I put my hand around the A-pillar when driving it stops rattling. I might have to find a rubber gasket and shove it down in between there with a flat blade if they can't fix it at the bodyshop.
Oh, and here's the cheery part: the freakin' Focus rental car has a rattle in the overhead light switch! I had to shove a penny in between it and the headliner to get it to stop! HA HA HA!
