Default Road Racing/Drag Suspension

Okay, so I have the Roush, so naturally I am leaning towards the Roush suspension, which from what I understand is great for Road Coursing, but may actually be worse for drag. Is their any suspension that will give a good balance of both, because I think I want to partake in both....

The D-spec shocks are a great idea.

Basically, you have two conficting goals. On a drag car, you want the front end to be as light as possible so you can transfer weight to the rear on launch. Therefore most drag cars remove the front sway bar for the weight savings. Generally the front shocks are valved with very little rebound dampening to let the front end come up easier. This is going to be totally wrong for road racing, where you WANT your sway bars (or even bigger than stock ones)

My suggestion for a dual-purpose car is definatley to get the adjustable shocks, that way you can set them for whatever you're doing at any given time. A larger rear swaybar will be useful for both road race and drag. And beyond that, the only thing that is going to be truly universal is simply upgrading the OEM components like the LCAs and so on.

You might also consider a Watts Link kit. There are a couple of companies offering them. Here is the one from Fays2 Suspension and here is a link to the one from Lakewood. It is about half way down the first page.
