Engine oil dip stick
I noticed that on our dip sticks, there is a cross hashed area, as well as 2 dots... The cross hashed area stops before the upper dot... Where should I be filling the oil to when I have to add it? The upper dot? or the top of the hash? (I don't like being on the lower end of the hashed area)

Page 199 of the owner’s manual:
* â€If the oil level is between the lower and upper holes, the oil level is acceptable. DO NOT ADD OIL.
* If the oil level is below the lower hole, add enough oil to raise the level within the lower and upper holes.
* â€If the oil level is between the lower and upper holes, the oil level is acceptable. DO NOT ADD OIL.
