Making A Roush Hood Scoop Functional?
Has anyone tried this? Based on the fact that I have vinyl stripes, the Roush scoop looks like the easiest one to add and stripe.
Has anyone tried cutting the hood under the scoop to add a little cooling air flow? I assume the scoop is hollow...have never seen the underside of one.
Also open to other scoop options. I DO NOT want to replace the whole hood. Too much of a pain getting it painted and blended and restriped.
Thanks!

I'm sure you could install the scoop with a hole cut underneath it, but I don't think it would gain you anything....except more dirt and rainwater under your hood.
The underhood temps on our cars drop very well once you get moving.

I'm adding the Saleen S/C next week so I'm just thinking that every degree cooler can only help.
Not trying to get more power, just trying to make it safer and more reliable.
