Default 18 inch tires

Any recommendations? Car will never see snow. Ride quality and handling are high on my list. Thanks.

I'd like to know this also. I am torn between 2 models at the dealer. My first choice with the color I want has 17". My second choice color has 18". The extra $800 isn't an issue. But I don't necessarily want to sacrifice my color of choice for the 18" unless someone can convince me. Although I am going to ask them if they can put the 18" on my first choice as an added option.

First of all 18" tires are going to be wayy too small for a mustang. The tires should be at least 26" tall. lol jk jk

I would look at the BFG's G-force T/A KDW tire that looks real good and handles very well in the wet weather.

I have the BFG KDW2's on 18's and they are great. They hook hard and they handle great as well. No complaints here.

Go with the goodyear eagle f1's. Outstanding wet and dry traction... almost the same wet as dry traction.... lol I love driving it in the rain for that very reason....

Are these BFG's the same ones that come on the factory 18 inch wheels?

There are two differnt ones. Mine are the KDW2's. Look at them on tirerack.com to see the difference.

Goodyear F1 GS-D3's are nice. As are the michelin pilot sports or PS2.

Yokohama makes nice stuff as well, but not sure what is their top tire at this point.

Go to tirerack.com, I have never gone wrong by trusting their reviews and ratings.

Musiccity,
Are those the tires that you had on at the track? I remember some pretty good 60' postings...
