Default CAVIC Remote

Anyone know if the AVIC-Z1 will allow you to attach the CD-VC1 Pioneer Remote? Also curious... Does the AVIC-Z1 have the microphone built-in or is it a wired microphone you can place anywhere in the car? Anyone using the CD-VC1? Would appreciate any comments on that add-on.

Default RE: CAVIC Remote

The AVIC-Z1 come with a mic, but it is attached at the back and you have to route it to whereever you want to mount it.

I'm not sure what remote you are refferring to. I got the IR remote with the kit to mount it on my steering wheel and it works fine.
