To my knowledge It's not a truck engine. All the Ford Trucks come with a beafier 5.4 litre V8. While we're stuck with the little 4.6 litre. I personally would have liked to seen a bigger engine in our Pony's but i guess we just dont have enough clearance in the engine bay for them. I heard the biggest thing that will fit is a 5.0 and even that is pushing it.

the V6 is the 4.0L out of the Ford Ranger pickup, and the 4.6 in the GT used to be in the Explorer I think.

The 4.6 is the same as the one in my Explorer with a different intake setup and few other minor diffs!

GT500's front end is also larger to my knowledge you cant fit a 5.4 without cutting a hole in your hood or somthing like that

the 5.4 in the f150 puts out a whoping 300 HP, or exactly the same as the 4.6 for some reason[8D]

Yes, because there is something inherintly different about engines that are used in cars, or trucks.....................................

Ford uses the "modular" V-8's across it's product line.

Tell the idiot that told you that, they put the truck engines in cars, so that the cars can tow trailers better. And add a DUH after you say that.
