Saleen Shift Block Adapter

RE: Saleen Shift Block Adapter
Riven,
While i was back under today, I was going to do the bushings as well. Got a set of pro-thane bushings from Moss. Anyway, it's all of three 10MM nuts, and you would not have to drop the drive shaft. However, as I discovered, you really need a deep well socket for the two at the rear of the shift rail, and perhaps a ratchet wrench for the one on the trans......
Funny, both of the above mentioned tools are missing from my metric stuff.....what a pisser....
Oh well, something easy for next weekend I guess....

RE: Saleen Shift Block Adapter
It's a lot easier if you do drop the front of the driveshaft (very easy). I took the shifter out and took it to the bench to install the bushings. With bushings installed, re-installed the shifter, installed the block and re-connected the front of the drive shaft. No big deal.

ORIGINAL: Goldenpony
I installed the Saleen shifter block and a kit with harder urethane bushings from Steeda for mounting the shifter at the same time.
