Nice to hear from all of you Aggies
Haha, thanks for the comments but I think my friend wants to keep his Mach
Ya, we usually have cars at the Rudder Fountain once a month.

In case you still live in the general area, you do not have to be a student to join the club
We have drag races once a month and host an auto-x at the Riverside Annex Airport.
Here is our schedule- http://www.tamscc.org/forum/docs.php?a=19 Please feel free to register on the forum and see what is going on down at Aggieland!

Here is a semester video showing our drag races (1st half of video) and our auto-x's (second half)
Enjoy

www.tamscc.org

I have the same name there also

Check it out. If you are nearby you should come out to our auto-x's!!
Excellent!! Glad to hear the ol' club is still kicking. We used to have a lot of fun, we'd meet once a week (I think it was Wednesdays) and then go hang out in a parking lot somewhere for an hour or so, then go to a remote area for some... ummm.... comparisons of speed we'll call it Nothing like seeing those old musclecars going at it on a dark country road. This was in the early 80's. I don't think any of us imagined those same cars would be worth so much in 25 years that they'd be relegated to climate-controlled garages. I never participated in the autocrosses because my cars only liked to go in a straight line, but I did do volunteer work at them.

Awesome Pics! Whoop!!! Class of 96 here. I wish I knew TAMU had a muscle car club back in my student days. I sure miss Freebirds and the Chicken. You are lucky to be there. Can't wait till football season starts up.

Gig Em!
Funny that you should mention Freebirds. I worked for them for about 5 years and my wife is the area supervisor for DFW (she also happens to be from El Paso). There's a bird in Lubbock now. I'm guessing that would be the closest one to you now. heh
