Default Hypertech Hyperpac

I haven't had much luck getting questions answered on this forum, but Ill try again.

Has anyone had any experience with the Hyperpac with there S197 stang? According to the Hypertech website they do have one for the 05-06 mustangs, but I am unable to locate one on ebay or anywhere else for that matter.

Thanks in advance.

Not to be sarcastic but it helps if you ask questions that we have answers to. Its really hard to answer something that no one knows. You say havent been able to find the pack online.. so how do you know about it? If you read it in a magazine they no doubt gave a phone number... Or if all else fails, www.Google.com is your friend...

Smoke another one....

I said Hypertechs website indicates they make one for the S197, but I am unable to locate one for sale. The question is very simple, if anyone happens to have one, would they give me some feedback/opinions on it.

Thats kinda odd that they advertise on their website but dont have any way of anyone getting a hold of them to buy something..

Eh I still say its safer to stick with the bigger names but to each his own. Good luck.

http://www.autoanything.com/performa...aspx?kc=NT1909 <-- will this one not work on your car as well? I don't have any experience and both reviews on there seem to be from trucks, but maybe you'll find that helpful.

Try Summit Racing, they sell alot of Hypertech products. If they don't have it, chances are it is not available.

Yea, thats it and that particular store has the one for the 05-06 stang. Thanks for the link. My idea is to use the unit to monitor perameters. Rather than have a half a dozen or so gauges and a air/fuel ratio meter, this Hyperpac might not be a bad buy; cost would probobly be the same. Alot less labor.

If any of you are curious about the pack, you can download the manual for it on Hypertechs website.

Before spending the money, Im hoping to find someone who has one and get some feed back.

I bought a brand new hyperpac for 550.00 shipped to my door in Calif. It is an expensive toy. It has a ton of gauges and readouts but the most fun is the "Drag Strip" option. You dial in all the specs of your vehicle, including the weight and when you are ready you hit the Christmas tree button and it counts down. Then you just smoke em and get your best times for many different distances. It can be set up for 1/8 or 1/4 mile. It's very cool, it has a built in dynamometer in it plus dozens of other things I don't even understand. But, like I said. It's an expensive toy. I use it mostly for the speedometer reading because I can't read mine with the steering wheel down. I also have the alarm set at 100 mph which happens to go off quite frequently for some reason. Hope this helps.
