Default Single Din Shaker Replacement

Any suggestions on a single DIN replacement head unit. Must have Sirius radio. Thanks.

Default RE: Single Din Shaker Replacement

I highly recommend the Kenwood Excelon series. I have a 2003 model X469 model that I bought 2-years ago for about $75 that included the sirius receiver. I had it pulled out of my old ride and installed in the new pony. You can get a new X series Kwood for about $200 for the lower end models which have sirius, ipod hook, etc. You can also spend up to $600 for the top-of-the line Xs. The thing I like about my Kwood in lieu of the Shaker is that I can independently control the door subs (turn them off/on as well as increase/decrease their output level). I think single din is the way to go for sure as it gave me a storage area for phone and garage opener. I put a piece of felt in the storage tray and vrelco'd my door opener to it. It looks a little tacky in the photo as the camera is looking straight into it. From the normal driver/passenger perspective, you can't see the vrelco at all...
