Got pulled over last night..
1st night back home with the Stang was ripping out on the highway and I saw a cop ahead with someone pulled over so I slowed down to about 70km/h while passing him and then dropped to third and opened her through the gear to 120km/h. Hit the cruise and carried on. About 5-10minutes later I see some headlights coming on me pretty quick in the distance and figured someone wanted to play so I dropped the hammer and took her up to 200. The headlights caught up so I decided to let the guy pass. As soon as he gets close on go the cherries and I pull over. I considered wetting my pants not sure what a 200 in a 110 zone ticket would ticket do! He comes up to the window.. "The reason I pulled you over is I heard you get on it pretty good after you passed me...what do you have for an exhaust?" I tell him just Flowmaster mufflers and he says, "Well it's just my job to be snoopy had to check it out. Nice looking ride you have here. Drive safe and watch out for the deer."

I live in Montreal right now but I spent 5 years in Spruce Grove for a plant startup. I passed an RCMP car on the shoulder going over 200 one day on 16A. I was going to EdenNorth to skydive. The guy pulls me over. First thing he says is "WFT are you doing?!?", "Huhhhh I'm going sky diving sir...... ", " Well your on the road now, not free falling!, Get out of here and jump safely..."
The cop was a Skydiver so by definition, a good guy.
Moments like this don't happen often but they do happen. Been taking it easy on the road ever since...
Did you get stopped by the Edmonton city police? Did you buy your way out? lol

Yah, I know the Eden skydive place, never been, though. I actually went to high school in Spruce Grove and that stretch is where I got my first speeding ticket way back when. Pretty luck for you!
I was actually on my way back from Lloydminster and it was about 20 minutes out of Lloyd that it happenned....probably the nicest cop I have ever had to deal with....especially since it was midnight on a Saturday night too!

Holy crap man, that is something that a cop would shoot you in the head 7 times for. I can't believe that you got off that way. Thank god he just wanted to see your car bad.
