So, does that sound like the mass air flow sensor. That what I kinda think it is, but I'm not too familiar with these new fuel injected vehicles. This is exactly what my grand national was doin and the sensor was the problem with that. About this warrenty work, they charged me too look at the car cause the manager "assumed" I changed stuff on it when I didn't. Can I fight this somehow to get my money back, cause there is no way that shaker scoop should void my warrenty. How do I know if this damaged anything internally on the engine when I get it back.
If you charged it on a credit card, put the charge into dispute. If not, I'd contact the service mgr. and tell him you want you're money back, or will need to go to arbitration. According to FEDERAL LAW, the dealer has to PROVE your mods caused the problem to void your warranty.

It was the service manager that charger me for this. I argued with him for a while about this after I paid the bill, and then he finally decided to look at my car. There can be no way the shaker scoop caused this. So, next time I go in there I'm gonna have another talk with the service manager to get him to give me my money back. Any ideas what could be wrong with this thing. Oh, and when I went out after the drive to show him the car, there was antifreeze all over the place, not sure where that came from?
