Evolution Performance - Shelby GT500 - 500 RWHP and 502 RWTQ Video!
Below is a video of our Shelby GT500 making 500 RWHP and 502 RWTQ on our Mustang 1100-SE Dynamometer with the Stock Pulley, Custom Cold Air Intake System, and an Evolution Performance Custom Tune using SCT Advantage III Software!
We are not even close to being done with this baddass car! We have many more hours of tuning still left to do on this car. We feel there is more power/torque to get out of the GT500 before we do the pulley swap and run more boost, which will be happening very soon! Stay Tuned!
I will have more videos up over the weekend from our track day this Saturday, August 19th, 2006 at Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, Maryland!
If anyone is in the area, we encourage you to stop by and watch our GT500 make a record pass!

OMG!!!!!
I want one sooo bad.
#1 it sucks i can't afford the car at all
#2 even less when they're charging like $15,000 to $20,000 over MSP
Regardless, that's great numbers with just a tune and an intake. I'd like to see a smaller pulley on that, and see what numbers it can do!

So where did the stock rims from the GT500 go?
And do you mean to tell us that they still have just that cheap prop rod to hold the hood up?You'd think they could switch to hood struts and just mark it up by a few bucks more!

Love the nice broad and flat torque curve. Maybe there will be a way to make up for all that weight, hell the terminators aren't all that light either. Maybe that rumored GT500R, if it exist and debuts, will meet the rest of the expectations the world had performance wise.

I won't steal Fred's thunder, but that Shelby looked so freakin' awesome going down the track today!!! And oh yeah, it's quick too...
