Hood/front bumper chips

RE: Hood/front bumper chips
I got a couple small hits on the hood that I touched up to my liking. The bumper has a few.
I am putting a clear bra on the hood, fender lips, and painted part just to the inside of the headlamps.
The bumper can be pulled off and shot anytime.

The clear bra is the way to go. I put one on my GT about 4 months ago. At first I was a little skeptical, but now, no regrets and no rock chips ever. Definitely a must to keeping the front of your car looking new.

Well heres a pic, but of course you can't see it becuase it's clear. Mine is covered on the hood, leading edge of the fenders, headlights, turn signals, and all of the vertical surfaces of the bumper. Bought mine from ClearMask.com. Installed myself, the hood and fender pieces are not too bad for a beginner, but the giant piece on the bumper is probably beter left to professional install. In the daylight when you get within about 3 - 4' of the car you can just see the edge of the material on the car.
I have 35K miles and it has saved my @ss. Not just rocks, but 2 x 4's, tires, and all the other crap out on the highway.
