Default Lowering springs and shocks

I am thinking about getting some Ford Racing lowering springs.
Is it neccessary to change the struts/shocks or will I be OK
with the factory struts/shocks? What about camber, is it
neccassary to change that? If I don't change the camber,
will that effect tire wear?

Thanks

Default RE: Lowering springs and shocks

I put the Ford racing springs on mine and nothing else.

The ride is stiffer and you definately feel the bumps more than with the stock springs.

I had the alignment done and they got it so close to perfect, I'm not going to worry about changing the camber yet.

Ideally you should though.

Shocks and struts would definately help improve the ride also, but in my case, I have to get the cash before I can upgrade those.

There is a ton of info on this subject in the handling section.
