First impressions of my new Mustang GT...
LOL...Of course I'm going to treat her well! This time it's not a lease!!
Anyway, when I went to pick her up she was flawless (as should be expected with a new car). I was there signing my life away for 30 minutes until I finally got to drive her off the lot. Oh man it felt so good. I ordered every option imaginable and everything was in the car exactly how I wanted it.
I've had 2 Infinitis, and 2 Altimas (3.5 V6)...the Mustang's interior is the same as the Nissans but not as good as the Infinitis (obviously) and I wasn't expecting it to be anyway. I'm extremely happy with the interior. I'm also very happy with the exterior too, something needs to done to the back though to give it a little better look, something is not right. The front is perfect and will remain like that except for some headlight & foglight bulbs.
Right now my "BITCH" is having a Pioneer navigation system installed (as I type this) in the ghetto somewhere. Hopefully, if I get my car back in one piece and not stolen, all that would be left is the interior trim kit. Tomorrow morning I have an appointment with Lorenzo for tints, he is one of the best Tinting guys around, check out his website...he was also featured on TV...www.lorenzotintny.com. On Saturday I will install my 3D Carbon Louvers and custom painted Plenum cover. After all that, I'll post some pics for you guys.
Performance wise: I don't really floor it much since the car only has 15 miles on it, but If I happen to give it a little juice it takes a while for the car to launch and pick up speed. It doesn't seem REALLY REALLY fast yet but I do plan on modifying the intake, exhaust etc... When my dealer took me for a test drive, he took me in a manual and when he slammed on the gas, the car really forced me against the seat and I actually had to hold on for a sec. I hope this is the case for my car when it breaks in or else I'm going to have to get a tune SOONER than I thought.
When I start up the car it sounds great (cool muscle car tone) and the exhaust is LOUDER than I thought...for you dudes who like it extremely loud - you're nuts! I probably will be getting Corsas though
All in all the car is better than what I expected in every aspect except off the line (but that could be because it's new, so let's see what happens)
Anybody have any thoughts, recommendations, ideas??

I used to think the same thing off the line, until I actually watched the speedo. It's amazing the design of it really doesn't "feel" like you're going that fast, but it is. I love it. I just bought mine on June 9th myself, so I got all the joys of a new Mustang. yAy!

Since you have an auto thats why it takes a while to get going. It has horrible lag. Get a CAI and tuner and youll get rid of the lag and the difference will make you sh*t yourself o_O

I've had my Redfire GT coupe for a week, and it totally rocks. I love everything about it, especially the stick, but of course, it will have to be "properly personalized". That will happen eventually, but for now, it's just fine and dandy.
congrats for your new ride!
my advise: first get used to that pony of yours, if you have been driving Nissans, be more carefull before you get used to rear-wheel drive!
... I recommend some abandoned airfield or really big & empty parking lot so you find out how it behaves and make use of those amazing 90 degreees corner powerslides!
and watch it on wet road!! it kicks!
