I see you got the grill off, so no need to tell you about how to do it.

Just a word of advice for when you put it back on, make sure the snap-in tabs are all aligned before you push it into place. And a thin towel over the bumper will prevent scratches from the grill (in case it slips when your'e putting it back on).

You are totally incorrect! There are several aftermarket grilles that require the removal of the stock grille. My stock grille took about 3 minutes to remove with no damage or cutting.

Billet grills lay overtop of the black stock one you dont take it off. There arent any aftermarket grills out that require you to take out the stock grill. I wish there were because I dont want the stock grill behind my billet, but I have looked and looked for a LONG time and found NONE that require you to take off the stock one.. so unless that one is new then Im pretty sure it just lays over.

My mistake, I meant grills that replace the stock one but keep the fog lights in the same spot, I should have clarified that... I was aware of the street scene one which moves the fogs to the center, unfortunately if thats what I wanted it would be easy to get... but what I want isnt out yet from what I have found.. I want a new grill, either billet or a chrome mesh kind of thing, that requires you to totally replace the stock plastic one and either keeps the fogs in the same place, or removes them also. Basically... I want a metal grill that doesnt have the stock one behind it. Maybe thats too much to ask?

Just wondering.. Scott, isnt the Street Scene one plastic just like the stock one?

The outer frame and light buckets are plastic, but the grille is steel mesh. It's available chromed, black powdercoated(like mine), or paintable.

There is a full billet replacement with NO fogs, NO pony. The only one that is tempting for me but I'm enjoying the "bright fogs" at night. Personally I wouldn't touch an overlay grill, especially one that trashes the OE one behind it.

OE grill releases easily with 8 tabs; no big deal, just go easy and don't break one.

Exactly my thoughts fairlane. I find we like alot of the same things... I want the extra brightness of the fogs, but it would be nice to have a replacement billet. What would be ideal would be to move the fogs, but with our spoiler that doesnt look like its possible or that it would even look good. I would also like to find a nice grill for the bottom opening. Now that its so big, Im just afraid of a rock visiting my radiator.

WOW...why did you cut such a big hole from the pony..it comes right off and the billet goes over top. I had the same one but removed it and sold to a freind and went with a black chrome grille....wow....allot of excess cutting...sorry, wish I read this earlier i would have saved you the hassle of all that cutting,,,, all I had to do was
A remove pony
B drill 8 small holes with a 1/8 inch drill bit
Snap grill in place tighten ties and trim and tuck..place grille back on....voila....done....
