HELP WITH GRILL!!
Bl1nkage,
Do get a grille for the bottom. I was driving up in PA and f'n piece of steel rod "jousted" right through my radiator. I'm really not sure why they left that so exposed. I hate hanging a tag on the front of my car (but it's better than a ticket for not having the front plate) but, now it's a freakin foreign object deflector.

I did take the pont off first and the housing of pony was the actual problem the grill would not sit properly I had to cut it out. where did you get your grill from?
Anyway it looks killer!! and totally worth trashing the stock grill.

WOW...why did you cut such a big hole from the pony..it comes right off and the billet goes over top. I had the same one but removed it and sold to a freind and went with a black chrome grille....wow....allot of excess cutting...sorry, wish I read this earlier i would have saved you the hassle of all that cutting,,,, all I had to do was
A remove pony
B drill 8 small holes with a 1/8 inch drill bit
Snap grill in place tighten ties and trim and tuck..place grille back on....voila....done....

Not that it matters too much but it's not the radiator but the AC condensor. (unless that rod pierced both) Any mesh grill, or plastic one, that steel rod would likely have jousted through it as well in all probability. Small stones are only likely to dent the fins (and you can straighten them) It would take a larger, bouncing rock to catch it just right to puncture it. And those size rocks only are bouncing if you are following too close. Keep your distance especially with trucks and unless you're doing a lot of distance highway driving there's little chance you are going to puncture it. I mean I can't worry about every freak thing that can happen. Never had a steel rod hit the front of any car I've ever driven and I'm not going to start worrying about that now. The OE lower grill has two sizeable openings and haven't heard of an issue yet. Sure if we could get a lower grill and upper that matches and looks great, but I don't see that happening and I'm not about to compromise looks for a slim to none occurrence. Heck I can probably replace the condensor for the price of new upper and lower grills. You know what I mean...

I know, CDC was supposed to do a billet grill 2 years ago (was on their original 05 car) and they never did. If they did that and a lower billet matching they would sell more Agressives too. The open look reminds me of the mouth on a Cobra roadster so I'm kinda liking the open look and am not worried about road debris. Too many more important things to worry about. :-)
I don't follow close for many reasons; custom paint for one.

I want to get a Billet Grill...both upper and lower...and found this overlay one that looks like I would not have to remove anything....I definitely would not consider destroying the OEM grill to get the Pony off.
This one looks like it is cut around the OEM pony.....Anyone try this one?

The open look is nice, just scares the hell out of you when s**t starts flying toward you.. Its bad enough yhe 2 center lower sections of the bottom grill come open from factory, but to take more off? Just be careful.
