Looking into tint too... TX legal limit is something like 20% for the front sides and I think the back doesn't matter... I just sold my brother's cobra and his tint was illegal all around, looked very good! everytime he saw a cop he just rolled the windows down... I don't think is would have passed inspection though, but we had friends that inspected it sooo : ) yeah... for the price I found $135 and that was for however dark I wanted to go, legal or not... and then at another place I found that same price, with 3 year warranty, but only for the legal limit but they also had some kind of special tint for 250 that has a long warranty, and it is supposed to keep the car cooler. there's my input, good luck!

Texas legal all the way around. Got it for about 180.00 at Mothers Window Tint in Austin. 3M metallic with lifetime warranty.

 

Thanks for all the pics and info gang!!!! I'm probably gonna get my tint somewhere in the 30% range. Man, that 5% is dark!!!

Now when I go to a tint shop, I'll have an idea as to what I'm talking about....

Just remember the lower the number, the darker the tint.
