Removal of 3M Tape

RE: Removal of 3M Tape
Fishing line works pretty good for small items. Not sure you'll be able to get off an entire scoop without damaging the scoop in the process. Patience is the key to removing anything atached with 3M tape. The adhesive residue comes off quite easily with bar & tar remover. Good luck!

Hairdryer is a good idea.
Also, invest in a bottle of "3M #08987 General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner". You can get this at most auto parts stores. It comes in a red and white aerosol or rectangular can. This is BY FAR the best "sticky stuff" remove you will ever use. I use this in my motorcycle shop. I know a lot of professional mechanics (Auto, aviation, and heavy equipment) and they all swear by it. Expect to pay about $10-12 for a can. A little goes a long way, and it won't harm auto paint.
