Not the one I saw but it does look pretty cool. The one I saw was totally undercover.. looked like any other mineral gray s197. Only way you could tell it was a police car were the flashing lights all over it.

And is it just me or are the police lights on the tops of the cars getting thinner and thinner? (from top to bottom wise, so I guess youd say "shorter")

Where do you live? There are lots of unmarked police cars here in Florida.

Dude, are you sure it was a cop car! If I remember correcty all police cars including highway patrols are supposed to be visibly marked.

I guess you've never heard the phrase "Smokey in a plain wrapper!"

I see unmarked police vehicles all the time around where I live. Just look for the solid black grille in the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. They put the lights so you can't see them if they are not on!

Texas DPS used the 5.0 Mustangs for a long time. I won't surprise me one bit if they don't use these GTs as well!

Right now Puerto Rico, prior to that North Carolina, Prior to that Massachusettes. I remember years ago there was an issue with entrapment when an unmarked patrol car pulled up beside you and you hit the gas. Not to mention there were crazies out there pulling over women pretending to be cops. After that I remember seeing all those patrol cars with police emblems on the side.

What you saw was in fact an unmarked patrol car, So. Florida has tons of them from SUVs to stangs. The newest worry is this:

WATCH OUT FOR A yellow SALEEN SC unmarked patrolling boynton to boca, its a cop

Confiscated from a doper. You have dope in your care, you lose your car.
