Shaker 500!!!
WOW!! I put in a rap cd that I just was listening to it in another stang...no sub just 4 speakers... then i put it in mine. Holy $h!t Thats the most ridiculous sounding thing, it just like resonates through the enitre car. (never had a car with subwoofers in them) THis is gonna be one good relationship with my stereo...until the speakers get blown out lol

ha i got the shaker 500 and have not heard the regular stock one
i mean the shaker 5 is a nice sound for a system form the factory

I super unimpressed with the 500. If I had the option, Id have gone stock and replaced the whole thing with an after market system. It is nice to keep the car stock though and I do apprciate the Sirius in dash but the sound is marginal.

My 07 GT came with the Shaker 500, and I think its awsome. I dont see how any one could make use of 1000 or more watts inside a Mustang. It also has a lot to do with what you were listening to before you heard the Shaker 500. I was driving a Jeep Wrangler Sahara before I traded it for my GT. The am/fm/cassett was weak, and crappy sounding, after 8 years of crappy sound, the Shaker 500 simply ROCKS.
The best sound I think, is when you set it to the rear seats. I had it on drivers seat, and thought it was real nice till I changed it, now it has sound everywhere.
Do people actually try to ride around, in town with the 1000 watt shaker or any kind of 1000 watt system with the volume cranked up to the max? Every one has heard high school kids playing anything that has a lot of sub woofer bass, usually rap. If you can feel the bass pulses when the car is next to you at a light, and have to talk loudly to be heard by your passenger, then I cant imagin how horrible it must be inside the other car.

I can get a JL 12" setup for as much as that subwoofer addon would cost and I believe it'd be better for the same money. So I just have the shaker 500 for now. I don't feel like I really need the sub, bought a pair of subs for my vw bug though which I still have yet to put in.
