How about I cut the plenum cover exactly where the strut tower brace would fit???...that way I could keep them both. Do you think this would work...if so, what tool do you guys recommend I use to cut the cover??? Thanks alot!!!

Or get a different strut tower brace...one that clears from Steeds or BMR..u can sell yours and get another that clears..

BMR just responded saying they will be releasing a STB that will clear the Plenum cover in a couple of weeks.

Quick question. When I installed my plenum cover and closed the hood, I thought the inside liner (or whatever that is called) was right on top of the cover with no wiggle room. I contemplated adding a STB, but I though I would then have big time problems closing the hood or if it did close that it would be a very tight fit...has anyone had any issues with both (i.e.cover and STB)?

I bought the brace from Blue Oval Industries and it wouldn't clear my cover either until I put the mounts into a vice and "tweaked" them a little. Now it fits nicely over the plenum cover. See below...

You're not supposed to have any issues with the Plenum cover. If you are, an STB is out of the question...IMO!
