PLenum cover sits tight, with no issues other than I dont think I can fit the STB, but it may be all in my head based on the photos I just saw from underbird 10.

UB10,

What exactly do you mean by "tweaked"? How do you access the motor mounts?

ORIGINAL: Riven02

That is a very bad thing. The plastic isnt going to stop the engine from torqueing over it is going to break, and it could take your intake manifold with it.
+1 and for the OP[sm=chairshot.gif]

I wasn't referring to the motor mounts, but the mounts for the STB. As you can see from the photos, the mounts are just plates that are welded to the ends of the brace. I bent them approximately 5 degrees on each side to allow the STB to fit over the cover. I does leave a small impression on the hood liner, but it does not interfere with the hood itself in any way.

My STB is from GMS.

Picture in ad shows the STB clearing the plenum cover.

Like another poster mentioned..............it will clear..............but man............a whole lot of twist'in and bend'in.

Looks cool though............I'm happy.

Yeah, I have the ford cover and the frpp strut tower brace. STB will not clear nor will the TB mounting hardware work with the LFP throttle body. I am going to think about the mounting of the cover for awhile before I start bending the STB. If I come up with any ideas I will post them here.

Well, when I removed my STB it left it's mark on my $200 custom painted plenum cover so I threw that **** in the F&*%$&G garbage. I'm keeping the STB and the plenum cover can go take **** for all I care. I like the way the brace looks anyway and I'm not adding any more covers to my engine bay! Who the hell is gonna see it anyway!

That 200 dollars could have went to a nice intake...but hey, you live and you learn.

Timothy...I do think the STB stiffens up the front a tad IMO.
