Oh, I'm not saying the water will not bead up. No matter how you wax it or what type of wax you use water will bead up on the car if you spray it on, or the car is rained on. Not sure if you were talking about my final "sheet rinse". This is done after all power rinsing is done. With the nozzel off you are pouring water from roof, downward to lower panels. With this step there is simply much less water on the car to remove that's all. (less removal, less chance of creating swirl marks)

Removing a dry haze can easily create swirls. (Where do swirls come from? Ans: Washing, drying and wax removal)

Agreed that this all depends on what "dry" means and the brand of wax is of course a factor. Under most light conditions and with medium to lighter shades of underlying paint color you will not notice these swirls as they are first being created; only after enough have been formed. Just a bit of caution for you; everyone has their solution....

Using the Zaino ZFX accelerator will allow you to do two things:

Buff off the Zaino quicker because it will dry faster.
Put up to 3 coats on in one day (24 hour period)

If you do “not†use the ZFX accelerator you have to wait approx. 8 – 9 hours between coats to let the Zaino properly bond to the surface.

Zaino will last just as long regardless if you use the ZFX accelerator or not. If its humid out it could take HOUR’S before the Zaino finally dries whereas with using the ZFX accelerator when it’s humid will generally allow the Zaino to dry within 30 minutes or so.

Also, you mix, or put the ZFX accelerator IN the 2oz mixing bottle with Z2 polish or which ever Zaino polish your going to use and mix it. If you use the 2oz bottle and filled it up you would add 8 – 10 drops of the ZFX accelerator into the bottle with the Z2 in the 2oz bottle and shack them up to mix it.

Zaino will last a good 6 months through bad winters with snow and salt on the road and that’s why I have used it the past 4 years or so. I don’t drive my Mustang in bad weather but I even Zaino my Ranger.

The Zaino, in my opinion, really makes the paint start looking good after about 5 coats so you would be looking at 2 days, or 2 different weekends to get 5 coats on since you can only put up to 3 coats on in a 24 hour period IF you use the ZFX accelerator.

I have seen guys with white Lightning’s that use Zaino Z2 and they look amazing but again they have 5 – 6 coats on.

Absolutely no question..ZAINO is the way....I have done everyhting in the way of conventional waxes on ever color car ...dark to light red to white, black and blue...green...silver...ZAINO kills everything else...Maguiars, Mothers, anthing...can't touch it...

Clay the car.....

Wash with Dawn dishwashing soap....

Rinse...blow dry...yep use the leaf blower and blow all the water out of every crevice....dry the car with a soft ..100% cotton towel..turn often...make sure you are in a clean well lit garage...put down a thin coat of base VAINO...the brown stuff....let it dry to a haze...20-30 minutes....take plenty of time....this is not a speed contest OK...then apply the pink stuff over the base...nice even coat...dry to haze...take time....let it dry...then buff with soft 100% cotton towel..I use a buffer at times... once the car is completely done...wipe off with their spray detailer....WOW! You will be blown away....

You can "wax" as often as you want and the more you do it the deeper and more luxurious and long lasting the shine....I am **** about it...ZAINO

Only do this part if you want to eat away your clear coat.

Zaino is the best you can use. It is a system and if you follow the instructions you will be amazed at the results. It is almost like adding clear coats to your car. The first time I did mine before a car show, I could not believe the results. It was a night and day differance. The car was so slick that a Windex bottle that was half full would just stat sliding on the hood.(caught it before it went very far and it didn't leave any marks. I use their car wash soap and it keeps everything shiny. Then hit it with the enhancer and your good to go. Get it here www.zainostore.com

Actually the Dawn dishwashing soap only needs to be done the first time prior to using Zaino so as to insure any wax that may be on the paint, as well as grease etc, is cleaned off to give Zaino a good clean surface to bond to.

The Dawn really won’t hurt the clear coat so much as it will dry out non-painted plastic pieces if used regularly. Even if you Dawn washed the vehicle once a year it would never harm the paint or non-painted plastic pieces.

Yeah its a degreaser and it does exactly that, it strips EVERYTHING off.. granted using it one time wont do much or hardly any damage but as a regular soap, youre asking for trouble. Also never let it dry on the paint, I did a science experiment for school with several soaps on a truck we had one time and the dawn ate through the clear in about a week. I washed sections of the truck with certain soaps and also washed them and then let them dry onto the paint in other sections. Dawn was by far one of the worst ones to strip off the clear. Another was that joy handsoap stuff... If youre trying to clean all the way down to clear there are other products that are better than using a degreaser like that, and certainly never use an abrasive, but if its only for one time, I doubt it will do permanent damage. Personally I wouldnt take the chance but thats just me. Good luck with your Zaino.. might try it out sometime, I hear Eagle 1 nanowax is excellent, especially for lighter colored cars.

I'm using Eagle One primarily because it's a no-haze, easy to apply carnauba. I have my doubts about it being adequate protection-wise for an all season daily driver. In my case I like it because you cannot create a swirl mark with it since the entire application/removal has lubricating properties. I'd have to read up on Zaino. ...don't want to be putting something on that will be building up and possibly require stripping at some point. Might just wait a year or more before going that route. Could be the best thing for protecting the CC however.
