Geez hate to sound like sour grapes but I hear 4:10 gears with a supercharger will leave you with a serious traction problem.[:-]

4.10s You won't regret it. Very fun, very fast off the line. I'm getting a Kenne Bell Supercharger install next week and it should be awesome, from everything I have heard.

the 4.10s are good for non-modified engines. when you start to modify your engine, the torque will increase and spin your wheels more, plus as someone said earlier, they will make you mpg go down. if youn plan on modifying your engine, just go with 3.73s but if you are going to keep it pretty much stock but with a little more of an edge then go with the 4.10s.

I got 4.10 with mine mpg suffered but that could be I used a 4cyl 5 speed that makes it alittle lower gear. Got a he** of a hole shot though. At 70mph it runs about 3800 rpm's.

Well, you don't have to alter the "tune" (fuel/ignition mapping) per se. But you do need a tuner so that you can correct the speedometer. If not, your speedometer and odometer will not read correctly. A dealer might be able to make the speedo correction though. It's worth asking about.
This is one of the many reasons why I suggest a tuner as the best "first mod". Not only does tuning produce good gains by itself, but it's very useful for later mods, such as speedo correction.
You can get the FRPP gears from your dealer. Also, many other shops carry them too: Summit racing for one, and I many of the forum sponsors have 'em too.
