blink, i am not quite sure i follow what you are saying, wiggling what? you take the mirror off the car and hand sand them, it will take about 4 or 5 hours. its a really simple job.

JGT, i am no well schooled in this area, if you have any questions fairlane will be able to answer them, he is the one who told me how to do mine.

I was under the impression that you guys were sanding them while on the car, and thats why you were moving them, to be a better angle to sand them or what not.... what exactly did you mean by "i only had to move them about 4 times each mirror"?? Thats the part I seem to be confused about..

And yeah Fairlane is awesome, he can tell you how to do lots of things to your car..

I think most guys are removing the mirrors to sand them (pretty easy to do). But, in order to sand on the inside edge of the cover, you have to push the mirror out of the way as you move along. I think I screwed around with it a little too much and now the mirror itself has the shakes.

Ok, now I understand, youre talking about the actual reflective glass of the mirror, I was misunderstanding and thinking you meant the entire mirror (the whole black piece, or in your case whatever color you painted it) was shaking. Thanks for clearing it up.. theres no way to actually take the glass off though? Seems like it would be alot faster and easier.

I wish I would have looked into this possibility before starting....Anyone know if you can do this?

Off topic: I love seeing the mirrors vibrate when you have the bass pumping lol
Huh. I enjoy seeing the mirrors vibrate when I have the engine bumping... the car is louder than the stereo...

Why not just get some CAL-VU mirrors from Street scene? No Sanding required and they look much better than the butt ugly stockers. I'll be ordering my set soon probably.
