I run the 75 shot with Brenspeed 91 oct. tune, he said it is perfectly safe. He did say for the 100 shot you may burn your plugs and you will need to retard the timing. Give him a call or e-mail him he is quite knowledgeable on the nos, he did my install and dyno .
+1

This is the first person I have found that agrees with me. I have been running my Zex for 6 months and 12 bottles now on the C&L 93 performance tune and stock plugs with NO problems. And let me tell you, it hits hard. Do I want to go to a 100 shot? YES, but I'll need to get colder plugs and a tune for sure. I'll post photo if you would like.
see, my problem with nitrous is, i run my car hard constantly and i have a feeling if i got it, i would be going thru a bottle every 2 days and that is not cost efficient or safe, so i shall be going with f/i, but i love the idea of nitrous, i just have no self control. oh to the thread starter, an rsx-s with full bolt ons, k-pro, and a 100 shot will probably be running low-mid 12's, so make that your goal.

Curious, why are some of you saying ZEX instead of NX?
Because ZEX is the way to go [sm=drooldude.gif].....ZEX 05 Mustang

and with DynoTunes Air/Fuel Ratio Nitrous shut-down switch, it makes running NO, even a little more safer. definitly the way to go for me. http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...p?idproduct=67

Now according to Brenspeed, you don't need a tune for the Zex kit if you are running under a 75 shot??

Its Jap so it prolly can..... and its light soooo a lil math says its fast ...NOS (ZEX) is a quick cheaper answer to this problem, but its temporary.. Where as a Super Charger is a permanent poer gain no matter what ... Its up to you but from what ive read and seen in person, NOS (ZEX) When used COMPETENTLY!!! will work very well

Well it is simple, your choice save up 5k to get the sc or turbo. Or just get a nos system for 500 if you go with the zex, if you make your own you could prob get it for around 300$ all of the components. Have fun and keep saving for the turbo

1. Justice...we fear what we don't know. go home. 2. Have used NOS for many years, 66 Nova wagon, good for about a second and a half on a bone stock machine shop shelf motor. 3. Never, Never, Never hurt anything, even with a hard driver. 4. does anyone have any 1/4 mile times with the bottle on an otherwise stock 4.6? thanks for your time.

it can. a 100 shot is pushing it on the stock internals, but it can handle it for a while with a good tune.
