Are AFS rims good quality wheels?
I'm looking for some chrome rims for my 2005 V6 and see a lot of AFS 05-06 Mustang Bullet Wheels 18x9 Chrome Rims on EBay. Are these good quality rims? What size are stock V6 rims? I know they are 16" but what width?

RE: Are AFS rims good quality wheels?
I've never purchased wheels from AFS before(they're located here in SoCal), so I can't comment on the wheels themselves. AFS has been around over a decade so their wheels sell, haven't heard anything negative about them. All wheels sold in the U.S. must meet specific regulations(DOT, etc.). Maybe they're not TUV standards(German standards-meaning wheel is capable of extreme conditions, mainly sustained speeds). Since the S197 V-6s are limited to 112mph(unless you used a tuner to alter the speed limiter), I'd say to be safe, buy something from Ford(or the many outlets that sell FFRP wheels). I believe the factory V-6 (base sized) wheels are 16"X7". Plus I think the wheels AFS sells are for pre-S197 Mustangs(offset is incorrect), but they will fit(wheels will stick out more than stock). Hope this helps your question.[sm=signs003.gif]
