looking for 20s about 1k
Bret, If you are asking me?
I have lowered our car about 1.5 inches (Eibach pro springs and Tokico D-Spec adjustable shocks) riding on 255/35/20 mounted on 20x8.5 front and 285/30/20 mounted on 20x10 rear. I installed the springs & struts myself in our driveway. (hardest part was to remove the two pieces needed off the front strut spring assembly) rest was easy! Here are a few pics, and for what ever reason I think the pic in the rain is cool! lol 05SDI

v0s6a,
Have you ever driven or riden in a s197 that is set up with complete aftermarket suspension riding on 20" wheels/tires combo on a twisty road? Now add a little hp (to the tune of close to 200hp lol) Some of us don't use our Mustangs as daily drivers. One of ours is our toy! And as a toy we like to pay with it. We also have another s197 mustang convertible to compare to and there is a drastic change in handling! I'll give up the seemingly soft mushy ride for a car that turns flat and holds a line through a corner because like you stated, "you know you drive a mustang " and I think the Mustang is a sports car so it might just want to corner with some of the best sports cars out there. But to each their own and that is what's coolest about our cars, Seems people from all generations like it's looks and style. Every day we take our car out someone either gives a complement or thumbs up or maybe just a smile and nod. (but that's not why we drive 2 convertible s197 Mustangs, we drive them because that is what we like!) 05SDI

if 20s are good enough for saleen theyre good enough for me.i get some flack from people about wanting 20s over say 17s or 18s but i want style and looks its fast enough as it is for me (i went over 130 mph laast night and let off cause i got scared haha).but the fact remains 20s fit very nice on s197s thats why i want some.to each his own i like looks with performance not more than the other. if that makes sense.
