Guys,
I'm new to all of this "Tuning" stuff and live in Huntsville, AL home of CNL Performance. They offer the C&L Trueflow Air Intake System with CL7140 Predator Tuner for $649.00. What I do not know is what is the big difference between the tuners and do I need to buy through another dealer to get the so called "tunes"?

There really is not much difference in the tuners themselves. The tunes that come in them are very similair. What you want to do is get the one that a reputable tuner shop in your area is the most familiar with.

I don't have experience with tuners myself, but from what I have read on these forums the XCal might be better for Auto's since it allows you to adjust the shift points. I could be wrong about that, but if you do some research on this forum you will probably find all the information you could ever hope to know about these tuners.

I have the PREDATOR and it allows you also to change the shift points. I put an offroad xpipe on and had it tuned with the PREDATOR and what a difference.
