Default Metalic Paint Separating

Well i recently went to a local body shop and had them look at my front bumper as the paint is looking blotchy they said the metalic flake is separating away from the paint, I was wondering if anyone else with a metalic flake in their paint has in the past/ is experiencing the same problem....btw my cars only 3 months old and just noticed it a week ago...do you think ford would cover it or would i have to pay for it.

take it back to your dealer...warranty should take care of any paint issues that are not caused by abuse.

+1. I never heard of that problem, but it's obviously a dealer/warranty issue.

That would mean the paint either didn't flash right before the clear was applied,or the clear was a bad batch/applied to heavy. I have done that painting a car before, it happens sometimes. It needs to be repainted, the paint is covered by your warranty as stated above, they will take care of it.
