+1 on the mirrors. ...who likes "textured black plastic"? ...who likes "textured" mirrors? ...who like "black plastic" mirrors? ...come on, these come from the same supplier as the ones on the Ford Explorer. ...ya just have to finish where Ford stopped to keep costs down. For the price of a Shelby they should be color keyed and fold in like about every import out there. ...then we could buy these for our cars. ...but no. fixed "textured black plastic" mirrors on a $50k+ Shelby too... UGH! ..fortunately the remedy is easy and inexpensive.

Who's venting? I'm asking questions. I'm married, every day is a bad day.

Agree with you, I recently put on the black painted mirror covers purchased from American Muscle (Mustang Tuning). They look good and look like they were always supposed to be there. Of course I have a black car and black mirrors and the black mirror covers really accent it well.

I do like the painted mirrors, but on the black cars there fine, I have no intentions of painting mine.

Tint looks awesome on black, and ok on the other colors.

Headlights=own!

Of course it's all personal taste.

I bet if you saw a black stang with painted mirrors you'd think more about getting yours done asap. It just looks more finished and most importantly eliminates the plastic look. ...but yeah, to each their own.

Tinted windows make a huge difference in comfort. I live in Chicago, granted it is not sunny everyday but in the summer it gets hot. Having tinted windows helps keep the car cooler in the sun. I have a black car and it is a must! Also I have a 2 year old and I don't want her being exposed to any UV rays.

with the big back window, tint is a must...lets compare interiors in a couple of years after the sun has bleached the carpeting and ruined your leather seats...Mirrors seem to be an issue on most ford products, the mirrors on my superduty are the rough plastic as well and they get stained from dirt/mud, the mustang should have smooth and auto fold funtions like most of the new "ricer" models have>>>I do agree with you on the headlights, leave 'em alone, the stockers look the best.

Your car is super sweet and clean looking; mirrors would look terrific in your color. If you need info on removal, and surface prep just let me know. Nice thing is you don't need to leave your car in the shop to get them done. Very inexpensive but very enhancing mod.

Whatever people do with there cars is their choice. There's alot of mods I wouldn't even consider doing to my car because of the look. But that's me. I like more of the stock look but have done a few mods that even a few of you probably don't like. Everyone I think tries to personalize their cars to there liking because they don't want that cookie cutter look of the next Mustang that comes along.To each his own.
