Default Electrical problems?!

Sometimes when I start the car the door ajar ding starts as soon as my key goes into the ignition (w/ the door closed!). Then it will ding until the car starts up. This morning it did that again and then my radio went crazy! It was on and the volume showed it was turned up but no sound was coming out. Then I couldn't change the volume or anything else and it wouldn't turn off. I even cut the car off and opened my door and it still stayed on. After about 30 seconds of the door being open it finally cut off. I turned my car back on and poof - everything was fine again? What could be causing these electrical issues?? Anyone else had these weird things happen?

I have read the threads on electrical problems due to water - my stang is garaged so it hasn't been exposed to water in over a week so I don't think that's my problem.

My car was acting possessed too until yesterday. You wouldn't believe some of the weird s**t it was doing, including the radio bit you mentioned. Get it fixed before the headlights, windows and A/C quite working intermitantly too. The dealership replaced the alternator and so far it seems to have fixed the problem.......so far. The diagnostic code was P0622.

You may also want to check this out, even though no one has reported it on the '07s, you never know...

Don't feel bad......I've had mine in 5 times in first eight months....twice for rear end clutch pack (misdiagnosed first time), twice for a fuel sending unit that left me stranded each time (not able to replicate problem first time), and once for this alternator issue.

Must say though, I still like the car and I'm hoping the bugs will get worked out.
