Default Convertible - Trunk Leaking

I've heard a few people complain about the trunks leaking on the convertibles, but I can't find any info about a TSB for this.

I thought I was lucky, and didn't have the leaking problem, but after a downpour, my trunk is soaked.

I wanted to know the TSB info (if there is one) before I take it too the dealer.

I haven't seen a TSB - but I have been checking my trunk for water and haven't noticed any yet. Have you looked at your weatherstriping to see that it's fitted correctly? I've noticed that mine was 'pealed' up at one point near the left taillight - but just pressed it back into place. Just a though...

It's not leaking near the taillights. Water is coming in from the top, but not where the trunk meets.

It's like water is draining off the convertible top, and then somehow snaking it's way in, and dripping up behind where the trunk latches.

I'm going to let everything dry up and take a hose and make sure the leak is coming from where I think it is. Also want to make sure it's reproducable so I can show the dealer.

That and removing my N2O kit, CAI, etc so the dealer doesn't know the mods are on there.

That--was--exactly--my--point--when I asked the question awhile back...I thought the meeting place between the top and the weather stripping was WEAK...

Some folks have driven the verts on a downpour and nothing, some, like you..report a leak..I have not driven it in the rain yet...

Lets us know what you find out...
