Default Where to put jack stands in the front?

I tried searching for this as I'm sure it's been covered somewhere...

But what is the best place to jack up the entire front end? So as to place jack stands on each side?

Please help, wanna start a project 5 minutes ago!

Here is how a raise my front end. Notice that I duct taped a rubber sanding disk plate to the jack to prevent damage to the car. No problems, no damage. But be safe and use jack stands.

So your jacking the whole front of the car by just that one spot?

Technically he is jacking the car up by that one spot for a little bit, then by putting the jack stands you have three points of contact which distributes the weight out just fine.

And this might sound a little over cautious, but I ran the car up on ramps first then jacked it up to until the suspension was topped out (but tires still touching ramps). This gave me enough room to place to fully extended jack stands underneath. But this way, god forbid a jack stand would fail or something, the car would only fall back onto the ramps...
